Hideaway was entering a new chapter. As the brand prepared to elevate its positioning and expand its hospitality concept, the existing name and visual identity no longer reflected the level of luxury, wellness, and international appeal they envisioned. The goal was to move beyond a locally focused brand and create a refined, cohesive identity capable of embracing multiple hotels under one elevated concept, while remaining deeply connected to its natural surroundings in Costa Rica.
The result is Hideaway at Río Celeste — a luxury wellness hotel nestled beneath the Tenorio Volcano, near the iconic Celeste River. Designed for an international audience seeking meaningful travel experiences, Hideaway offers a sanctuary where nature, comfort, and intention coexist.
The brand draws inspiration from the unique ecosystem surrounding the property. The initial creative direction was guided by the red-eyed tree frog, a native symbol of the region and a powerful metaphor for transformation. This concept informed the visual storytelling and illustration style, representing evolution, renewal, and the quiet shift that happens when guests step into a different rhythm of life.
At Hideaway, every detail is intentional. Landscapes, architecture, experiences, and soundscapes are carefully curated to create a sense of presence and balance. Guests are invited to slow down, reconnect, and leave behind what no longer serves them — taking with them clarity, inspiration, and a renewed sense of well-being.
